Workspace roles and permissions

Workspace membership grants access to the Workspace’s shared resources, not to other members’ Personal resources.

Before you start

• Workspace roles are Admin and Member.
• Invited users join as Members.
• Workspace permissions never grant access to another member’s Personal space.

Create it in Giggy

1. Select the Workspace and open Settings.
2. Review Your access to confirm whether you are a Member or Admin.
3. Admins invite users by email; invitations expire after 7 days and invitees join as Members.
4. Members use shared Workspace resources and manage eligible resources they created.

Improve the result

• Keep at least two Admins for team Workspaces where possible.
• Treat creator attribution as attribution, not ownership. Workspace-created resources remain Workspace-owned.

Use cases

Member

• Use Workspace credits and shared resources.
• Make one-time Workspace credit purchases.
• Create Workspace REST API keys and manage keys and budgets they created.

Admin

• Manage members, invitations, roles, privacy, all Workspace REST keys and budgets.
• Manage Workspace account budgets and automatic recharge.
