How Workspaces work
Every Giggy account has Personal. Workspaces are separate shared spaces for teams. Your selected Personal space or Workspace determines the ownership, billing, history, voices, API resources, and applicable Workspace privacy policy for new activity.
Before you start
- Personal always remains available, even when you belong to one or more Workspaces.
- Personal and every Workspace have separate credits and resources.
- Switching spaces changes the scope for new work and what scoped resources you see. It does not move existing resources.
How it works
- Open the account menu and choose Workspaces.
- Select Personal or one of the Workspaces you belong to.
- Confirm the selected space shown in the app before creating new work.
- Switch to another space to view that space’s History, voices, credits, REST API keys, or settings.
Rules to remember
- Check the selected space before paid work or creating a reusable custom voice.
- Use Personal for individual resources and a Workspace for resources that should remain with the team.
- Personal and Workspace balances are independent and do not cover one another.
Common mistakes
- Assuming joining a Workspace merges Personal credits or resources into it.
- Assuming switching transfers existing generations, voices, or API keys.
- Assuming a Workspace Admin can access members’ Personal resources.
