Workspace privacy, ownership, and leaving
Resources created while a Workspace is selected belong to that Workspace. Human Workspace processing uses the stricter applicable Personal and Workspace privacy rules. Leaving removes access but does not transfer resources into Personal.
Before you start
- Workspace Members can review Workspace privacy settings; only Admins can change them.
- A Workspace cannot weaken a member’s stricter Personal privacy protections.
- Workspace ownership survives an individual creator leaving or deleting their account.
Create it in Giggy
- Select the Workspace and open Settings to review its privacy policy.
- For signed-in human activity, Giggy applies the stricter applicable Personal and Workspace privacy settings.
- Giggy does not use user data to train models.
- Leaving removes access to shared Workspace resources; they remain with the Workspace.
- Account deletion removes Personal resources while surviving Workspace resources remain with their Workspaces.
Improve the result
- Review Workspace privacy before creating sensitive shared content.
- Promote another Admin before the sole Admin of a multi-member Workspace leaves.
